The leader of the visionary and Youths advocacy group in Egbema kingdom in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local Government Area of River State, Comrade I.E. Kelly Rufus has sent his good wishes to the good people of Ogba ethnic Nationality in ONELGA.
Addressing a media correspondent in Port Harcourt on Sunday 1st December, 2019, Comrade Kelly Rufus Commended the leadership styles and grace of the Oba, Eze_ Ogba of Ogba land, His Eminence: Sir (Dr.) Chukwumela Nnam_Obi (II.) expressing Satisfaction with His Eminence longtime Committement towards sustaining the people's Culture and tradition.
He called on the good people of Ogba land to Always assist their monarch His Eminence in the leadership and Development of their place.
Rufus however stated that His Eminence was one time Former Chairman, River's state Council of Traditional Rulers, and is unarguably the Longest serving monarch in history of Nigeria.
Leader of the visionary and Youths advocacy group however, Called on all traditional Rulers in ONELGA to emulate His Eminence; The Oba, Eze Ogba of Ogba land driving zeal towards Community Development and the sustainace of the people's Culture and tradition.
Culture as we were thought in our Secondary School days still Remain the people's way of life, and source of total happiness.
The responsibility to provide for the society a decent culture and tradition is the Sole duties of our traditional Rulers and monarchs hence, monarchs should try to deliver on the mandate given to them by the people.
The Egwu_ Ogba, NCHAKA Celebration of the Ogba people is indeed a culture worth sustaining.
