INDIVIDUALS POLITICAL & TRADITIONAL INTEREST DESTROYED EGBEMA_I.E.KELLY RUFUS

INDIVIDUALS POLITICAL & TRADITIONAL INTEREST DESTROYED EGBEMA!!!

( Heaven will not fall if we Unite Again _
Comr. I.E. KELLY RUFUS)

Just like the Maxim " The downfall of a man is not the End of His Life"

So is the present condition of our Naturally Endowed Kingdom not the End of our Existence as a people.

Egbema kingdom in Ogba_Egbema_Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State is an Ethnic nationality with an approximate populations of about 200,000 ( Two Hundred Thousand persons, with over 150,000 inhabitants in the Geographical location Egbema)

An Ethnicity with about 17 Major communities and over 300 sub villages that suffered a major heartbreak as a result of the sudden balkanization of her kit and kin into two different State's in the Federation ( IMO and  RIVERS ). Leaving the Egbema of Rivers State With 3 Positioned Communities with more than 30 sub villages all presently existing.

Fortunately for Egbema, We play host to several Multi_Nationals directly and indirectly maintain a relationship as host communities to many in the likes of: the NIGERIA AGIP OIL COMPANY LIMITED (Agip), SHELL PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, ADDAX PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT COMPANY NIGERIA LIMITED all with more than 5 servicing Companies each.

Shocking but true, Egbema has over 30 functional Oil_wells with none single Principal Landlords owning an Oil Block.

On daily basis, We are made to inhale dangerous substances as a result of the fractional distillation and combustion of Hydrocarbons and topped with the high rate of Gas flaring as orchestrated by this multi nationals. Not to mention the exploitation of the people and many others.

Politically, we are relegated and unaware of the present political calculations and benefits as it bothers our own state.
Surprisingly, The people are relentless and perhaps, maybe comfortable with her intimidating plight.

Since the creation of Rivers State in 1967 till date, Egbema_ Rivers State cannot boost of having either of her Son's nor Daughter occupying the following positions in the State:
GOVERNOR, DEPUTY GOVERNOR, SECRETARY TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT, CHIEF OF STAFF, VICE_CHANCELLOR OF ANY STATE TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS, CHAIRMAN CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION, A COMMISSIONER, HEAD'S OF ANY STATE GOVERNMENT ESTABLISHMENTS,
FIRST CLASS RECOGNITION IN THE STATE FOR OUR TRADITIONAL RULERS and many others.
In the federal,
We cannot boost of producing:
MINISTER, SENATOR, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES MEMBER, SERVICE CHIEF'S AND HEAD'S OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ESTABLISHMENTS

Prior to the 2015 Gubernatorial election in the State, for the course of Campaigning, the Governor his Excellency, Barrister Nyesom Wike made lot's of promises to us which includes,

THE RECONSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT AND COMPLETION OF THE ONLY GENERAL HOSPITAL IN EGBEMA (OKWUZI GENERAL HOSPITAL) Within 100 days in office,

HE PROMISED TO GIVE EGBEMA A CHANCE IN ANY TWO APPOINTMENTS DUE ONELGA,

HE PROMISED TO RECONSTRUCT THE DILAPIDATED OMOKU_EGBEMA DUAL CARRIAGE WAY,

HE ALSO PROMISED TO RECONSTRUCT THE DILAPIDATED (NWACHUKWU ROAD IN MGBEDE STONE VILLAGE) the road that leads to the house of Chief, Evans Ijeoma jp. the man whose house was used for the PDP LOVERS DAY CELEBRATION,

HE PROMISED NEVER TO ALLOW THE MULTI NATIONALS DENY US OUR RIGHTS. and many others on the occasion of the People's Democratic Party 2015 February 14th Valentine Days party in Egbema.

However, the Wondrous Question to ask would be:

* Where are the political leaders of Egbema?
* Has the Governor been informed of his campaign promises to us on the February 14th 2015?
* Who is actually championing our course?
* Will heaven fall if the Entire Egbema proceeds to meet with the State Governor and Remind him about his promises to us and also present our intimidating plight for redress?

So bad that Egbema has lost out politically, And Otherwise.
From my observations and research, Individuals political and Traditional interest has destroyed our land.

This time around,
We Say no to
Lies and Propaganda,
Self amassing and looting of our collective wealth by some privileged few,
Insensitive to the plight of the masses,
Petitions against a brother,
For Greed and and hatred has denied us many opportunities.

We can still get it right.
It's never too late.
First we need a rallying point were we can all discuss issues bothering us as a people.

Politics has done us more harm than good in Egbema.
Brother's now turned life time enemies for the reason of their political beliefs.
Our fathers in turn battling for First Class Recognition in the State.
Our once believed Active Group, the Egbema Youths Association has got factions and the focused lost because of Interference from all nooks and cranny

Oh! Our Great Egbema.
Our Sisters communities in the Egbema Imo State has got a safe landing and a jealous involvement in the Traditional, Social_Political structures of her own state and even produced a 1st class Traditional Ruler in Imo State, House of Assembly member and a Speaker of the house for two tenures, Deputy Chief of Staff in Imo State government, Chairman Bureau for land's, and surveyors,    among all, Managing Director of ISOPADAC, Member of the House of Representatives, Inspector General of Police and Chairman Police Service Commission.
This Does not includes minor positions  their son's and daughters occupies in the Ministries and Local Government levels.

Now again, I ask the Following Questions that begs for an answer:

* What is the Source of their Continual Advancement and Repositioning ?
* Can we also get this opportunities in our own Egbema Rivers State?
* What has been our greatest benefits of  been in the Egbema Rivers State ?

The time to Immediately Unite ourselves for the betterment of everyone is now.
We must salvage our Own Egbema of Rivers State for our Kit and kin has far learnt how to do without us.
We must become independent in our pursuits to measure up with our sisters communities.

Egbema must be better!!!!

Think about this!!!

I Remain your humble servant.

(Leader, Egbema Massive Movement)
